Watercress

About 1 Cup

Pepper Grass

About 1 Cup

Garlic Cloves

4 -5

Pine Nuts

1/2 Cup

Grated Parmesan Cheese 

1/2 Cup

Olive Oil

1/2 - 1 cup

Traditionally Pesto was made with Basil but we are using other herbs to give a different "kick" to this version.

A stick blender makes this a "breeze"

Put the first 5 ingredients into a bowl or container for the stick blender. Process for a few seconds. With the blender running gradually pour in the Olive Oil. It should form a thin paste.

You can use this on Pasta either hot as a side dish or cold as an alternate to the Mayo based Macaroni Salads.
